It was a nice glass house experience, especially in this sunny season. Nothing else to add.

The owner was pleasant, helpful, and correct. Unfortunately, we were double‑booked and could not stay in the Mandela house.

Staying in the suite at Mandela Huisje was a one‑of‑a‑kind experience; Ilco, the owner and host, made us feel welcomed and even went the extra mile to help me perfect the romantic surprise I had planned for my boyfriend. The place is a great romantic getaway and also practically located, as we had planned to go to a concert in Paradiso Tolhuistuin, which is about a 10‑minute walk. Although the city centre is right across the water, we didn’t feel the need to go into town. The place is very easy to reach from Central Station. Breakfast was splendid. Nothing else.
