“Great value alltogether”

The location is great. A single room without a balcony isn’t worth it; if possible, book a balcony room on the second floor because locals get loud in the evenings.

“Hat alles gepasst”

The room was okay, the staff were very friendly, breakfast was plentiful and good, and the setting was quiet and pleasant in the old town.

“A very mean and rude hotel owner”

The hotel was in an excellent spot in Tbilisi’s Old Town. When we arrived at 5:00 a.m.—even though the hotel had been notified and had accepted our arrival time—they told us we’d made a mistake and that the two rooms we’d booked were not available. The owner’s behavior was unacceptable, and she suggested we leave our belongings there and walk until noon when she could have our rooms ready. After we pressed her and threatened to call the police, she finally gave us a single room for the first night. On many of the following nights there was a lot of commotion in the lobby, with arguments between guests and staff. Breakfast was sufficient in quantity but repetitive and lacking variety.

The hotel is in a great spot, just 3 minutes from the central point, and the room I stayed in was really good. The staff were courteous and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast needs an upgrade. Unfortunately it’s very basic and doesn’t cater to anyone who might be a bit more particular about their food. It had only the basics—no variety in bread, no fruit, yogurt, or cereal.
