Classic pub food, plentiful and tasty. Breakfast is fine. Overall, good value for money. I can’t think of any negatives.

The pub had a quirky vibe and the staff were friendly. My large bedroom “2” had a comfy bed and soft bedding, a very clean bathroom, bottled water in the room, and air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent; dinner was okay. The room could use a fresh coat of paint, new furnishings, and carpet. The mantlepiece and windowsill were dusty, and the windows needed a wash. The road was noisy, but it was quiet at night. The ribeye steak was a bit chewy, and there was no hollandaise for the salmon dinner.

The old building was charming. I first got a room that wasn’t ready, then had to move to another one with a filthy toilet.

Leckeres Frühstück, sehr aufmerksames Personal, guter Parkplatz im Hinterhof – alles in Allem ein Oet zum Wiederkommen… Die Restaurantkarte ließ jedoch zu wünschen übrig.
