The room was comfortable with pretty river views, an oversized bathtub, and a fireplace that warmed the room quickly—though you can’t control the temperature, it’s either on or off. The TV was very small. The lodge needs a makeover; everything feels dated and worn, carpets look worn and unclean, and corridor and bathroom lighting is very basic and not welcoming. The neighbor across the river has string lights along the roof line that shine all night, and even with the blinds closed the light still came in, which was irritating when trying to sleep.
