Just a place to sleep. It turned out to be an HMO, which the advert didn't make clear, so when you book the whole place you need codes to enter each room—this is not ideal. It's certainly not homely and not comfortable for big groups; I'd only consider it in an emergency.

“Disappointing stay with serious cleanliness and privacy issues”

We booked for one night with 6 adults and 2 children, paying £150 plus an extra £15 for a late checkout until 12 PM. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was handy and reasonably clean, and the overall price seemed fair for a group of eight. However, the house was in a terrible state: it wasn’t properly cleaned, spiders and cobwebs were on the walls and in several corners, the bed linen looked yellow, had visible stains, and some sheets were torn. The most unsettling moment came on checkout morning when, before our paid late‑checkout time, an unknown woman unlocked the door and walked straight into the house without knocking, ringing the bell, announcing herself, or introducing herself, asking us what time we were leaving. With two young children present, this intrusion felt extremely uncomfortable and totally unacceptable. The listing promised parking, but no space was available at the front; when I tried the back, someone immediately told me the spot belonged to them, so parking was not as straightforward as advertised. Because of the cleanliness, bedding condition, parking confusion, and especially the stranger entering the property while we were still there, I cannot recommend this accommodation unless you’re only looking for a very low price and are willing to compromise on cleanliness, privacy, and comfort.

“A highly regrettable experience.”

The owner was kind and helpful when I had to call because the location information was missing—no postcode, no address, not even a photo of the outside. The bathroom was mouldy and dilapidated, the toilet seat was very loose, and there was no hot water or even adequate water pressure in the shower. The walls were paper‑thin, so I could hear snoring from the neighbouring room, and a refrigerator was running beside the bed. Parking was risky with potential fines or tickets, and the area was just a shitty spot, honestly. There’s definitely nothing “luxe” about it.

I booked five rooms, but at arrival only four were available. A few were left on the street, and the host was not home; after paying, I received no response. I would not book there again.

“Basic accommodation if you just need a bed for the night”

The property is completely anonymous, situated in the middle of a housing development and appears to consist of four individual rooms. The one I booked was basic. It would have been better to have lightbulbs in both lights instead of just one, and a cup or glass in the room or bathroom. Parking is available immediately outside the property, but it’s first‑come, first‑served, and I had to leave my car in a communal area with dire threats of fines. I still don’t know if I inadvertently racked up a penalty while trying to find the spot. Instructions to enter the building and assorted codes arrived via the app only after I had parked and phoned the manager to confirm I was at the right place. Value for money? I suppose so, but I’m not sure the product quite matches the “Luxe” description.
