Hotel Pansion Strossmayer No 1 - breakfast included

The staff were friendly, the prices were affordable, and there was a wide variety of food.

“Realno ovo nije hotel, nego malo bolji hostel.”

The location and staff were good, but we requested and were confirmed a double bed, yet received a bed with two separate mattresses; the towels seemed questionable in cleanliness and smelled damp; the room we saw in the booking photos looked much better than in reality; the kitchen odor seeped into the rooms, so we kept the windows closed.

The price‑to‑quality ratio was good.

The room was huge, spotless, and well furnished, with all the essentials for a cozy stay, and the staff were warm and welcoming. I’d definitely suggest it for anyone visiting Osijek. The hotel sits in a house with a courtyard, which gives it a slightly different vibe, and my room was near the kitchen so the clatter from that area could be heard. Breakfast was decent, though nothing special.

“Ugodan i uredan smještaj, raznovrstan i obilan doručak te vrlo ljubazno i simpatično osoblje.”

The food and hot/cold drinks selection was generous and everything tasted good. The kitchen was restocked regularly, so every guest had a full range of food and drinks during breakfast. The room was tidy and comfortable for sleeping, and the bathroom was also neat and clean.
