Two minutes from Taksim Square and close to the start of Istiklal Street, the price even included breakfast. The staff were top‑class, giving us information, answering questions, letting us borrow the Istanbulkart, and arranging both the airport‑to‑hotel and hotel‑to‑airport taxis for us. We didn’t have to book or plan anything else, just hand the agreed price to the driver, which really eased our stay. However, the hotel isn’t suitable for people with mobility issues because of the steep staircase to the building and the steep street to Taksim. For everyone else it’s manageable. The accommodation itself feels outdated, but we didn’t look for anything fancy since we were just staying in the room; it was sufficient without any frills or bling.

The staff are truly helpful and friendly, especially Sami, and the location is great. Breakfast could offer more choices, and the room could feel a bit cozier.

“Gut bis akzeptabel”

The staff were friendly and the breakfast acceptable. The property is near Taksim Square and overall on a quiet street. The vents of the central air‑conditioning system are permanently open and cannot be shut, so cold air constantly blows into the rooms, and two family members caught colds as a result.
