The host was very flexible with early check‑out and responsive, but they replied to me in Russian even though I was texting in English; the shower had good pressure and warm water. The only downside was that they only accept cash, which is very inconvenient and unfair, the room had a bit of a moldy smell and wasn’t looked after in terms of details, though it was clean; the bed was not comfortable and the mattress was very worn out.

The owner (or the person I spoke to) always replied quickly and was helpful; the location is super central and in a very nice and convenient area for various trips, though it is quite busy so that’s something to consider when moving around. The owner (or the person I spoke to) does not speak a word of English, which is definitely limiting if you work in hospitality. In my room there was a window facing the street (the building is at -1), so you hear any possible noise, from passing cars to people talking. Also there is absolutely nothing to block the windows so the light wakes you up. The room is poorly set up, the wallpaper is torn and probably moldy, and the shower head is rusty. The sheets were dirty and the bed made noise every time I turned and didn’t feel stable. Paying 27 euros a night in Georgia for a place set up so poorly is truly, truly excessive.

The apartment matches the photos exactly; the host greeted me and offered wine. It’s clean and cozy. I recommend it.

The spacious apartments in old Tbilisi were quiet, clean, had a kitchen for three rooms, a bathroom in each room, good water pressure, all kitchen utensils, and nearby grocery stores. The host met us at the airport, checked us in before 14:00, allowed us to stay 5 hours past the scheduled departure time, and drove us back to the airport – that was very convenient. The only issue was that the bedding was synthetic.
