The staff were superb and the location perfect, with a large pool and a private beach; the team was extremely friendly and seemed to create the best possible experience, earning my deepest respect. The hotel is only three‑star and looks worn out, so a renovation could turn it into a five‑star property with its own beach again, just like it was many years ago – you’ve got competition from Península and InterContinental nearby, so step it up.

The pool is huge and there are plenty of beach options. A construction site next door was not very loud, but 80 % of the resort was empty because the town itself isn’t really worth visiting. It’s a shame that the locals damaged everything.

The seaside location, courteous and helpful staff, and spacious rooms were all great. The breakfast selection was limited.
