Located three minutes from Frank Aston Underground Museum and the main shopping centre, the motel is nine kilometres from Mount Isa Airport.

The automated check‑in was a fresh idea and functioned smoothly; the usual motel noise between rooms was muted because the hotel sits off the main road and is quiet. Everything was new and clean, and the open bathroom layout made good use of space. The only downside was the lack of nearby dining, so we had to drive into town for dinner; otherwise, no issues.

The location was perfect—far enough from the highway to stay quiet yet close to the town centre. The staff responded quickly to any questions or requests. The only improvement would be a firmer mattress; otherwise, no real complaints, and I’ll definitely book again soon.

No key card was needed to open the door, but the cleaning still left something to be desired, especially in the bathroom and toilet; the shower was also lacking, with a very slow water flow.
