“Un incubo.”

The only bright spot was the proximity to the thermal baths, but the room had a very hard mattress that felt like two pieces of wood, and the pillows were too high, leaving me with back pain in the morning. The room was damp, the bathroom lacked hangers and a window, and there was no fan. I couldn’t sleep because of the noise from people eating on the floor below, and the stairs were a pain to climb with luggage. The breakfast was a sorry affair: just a tiny jug of industrial orange juice, a few small squares of sweets that were pre‑made the night before, and a cup of milk with coffee that had been heated the previous day. They never asked if we wanted anything else. Why do people write fake reviews? Maybe they’ve forgotten they ever stayed here.

It looked like an obvious Italian inn with its own restaurant, but the prices were a bit unclear.

The location was good, but there was no air‑conditioning and the room faced the kitchen, so even with the window open it was hard to stay cool in hot weather, and the bed was outdated.
