The restaurant and the staff were good, but the bedding left something to be desired.

The hotel was very pretty with a neat décor (our room had been recently renovated), the restaurant staff were attentive and discreet, and the dinner was excellent. The spa massages that await guests are also fabulous. The bathroom could indeed be more modern and the layout better optimized, but that’s just a detail.

The property is fabulous, with lovely grounds and a nice pool; it’s close to a beautiful Abbey and within walking distance of a village that has a charming local restaurant and a café. The price should really have included breakfast.

The location and large room were great, but there was no air conditioning. People were talking and laughing loudly outside my room window at 1am. On one day the restaurant was taken over for a private party; I asked about food for us, maybe a sandwich on room service, and they said the chef would not do that. Not good service.
