Very calm, far from the main road, and the staff are very friendly. I accidentally dropped my laundry into another room below mine, and the staff helped me out without hesitation.

It was good in terms of price‑quality; the kitchen was quite complete. The Wi‑Fi signal wasn’t good for working, so we asked for a room change because there was a lot of moisture and odor in ours.

This place feels like home. My daughter and I have stayed in many lovely places in Bali and Java, even private villas, but none felt like a place we’d keep returning to until we found Semimpi. Even though it isn’t a private accommodation, it feels private and comfortable. From now on, this will be our home base when we return. And give pats to the resident cat Jax. He’s adorable. Just don’t feed him. The only thing I could fault would be the same as any place in Bali: the ground is slippery when wet, so walk cautiously.
