Hotel O Castro, located on O Grove peninsula, offers rooms with stunning sea views. The hotel features a garden with a terrace, outdoor pool with loungers, and restaurant serving traditional Galician cuisine, including seafood. Rooms have wooden floors, traditional décor, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms. Nearby beaches and Santiago de Compostela are within easy driving distance, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration.

The location, room size, and view from the restaurant were great. Parking was an issue.

The views from the breakfast area were beautiful, and the location was superb—just 15 minutes from must‑see spots and with a beach nearby. The room faced the road, so cars woke you up in the morning, and the housekeeping team’s cleaning noises—vacuum, door slamming—could also be annoying. Still, it’s a good excuse to get up early and make the most of the day.

I liked the restaurant, its food, and the sea views from it; the staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and it was a stone’s throw (by car) from many interesting places. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the pillow was bad. In our room, 108, the kitchen extractor made a lot of noise when it ran, and it wasn’t always on, but when it was it was loud and made it hard to rest. Parking was very limited, and sometimes it was hard to find a spot because people from other places came to the restaurant and took them all. The buffet breakfast had a limited variety of items.

The staff, the views, and the hotel’s terrace with amazing vistas made it a fantastic experience to have breakfast every day overlooking the sea. The stay was fantastic.
