Tucked deep in the forest, this place is the only spot in the area where you actually hear birds instead of dog barks or motorcycle noise. Michaela, the Austrian owner, was incredibly attentive and kept everything spotless. The view from the room is stunning and the €10 breakfast was surprisingly good.

“Traumhaft”

The drive up is part of the adventure, and it pays off once you arrive at the breathtaking viewpoint and total silence. Michaela’s warm hospitality and the homemade breakfast made the mornings feel special. We really enjoyed every moment of the stay.

The Red Nest feels like a little paradise—beautiful, comfortable, and far enough from the city to be relaxing. It’s just a short walk to the beaches, and the pool is spot‑on for a quick dip.

The welcome was warm, the little inn feels very personal, and the food was a real treat; the garden, pool and rooms are all kept immaculate. Getting there is a hassle without a 4×4—the track is dusty and the final stretch has two tight, steep turns—but the hosts gladly help you park and even turn the car around for the next day.
