I appreciated the originality, but we ran into several issues: the TV they said existed didn’t work, there was no Wi‑Fi which made work difficult, the shower reeked of sewage, and the entry code was wrong until we finally got the right one after calling the guard and trying 4‑5 codes.

“Schöner Aufenthalt für 2 Personen”

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it mainly for two people; four can fit but it feels cramped, and wildlife like fish, nutria and evening bats are visible. However, if you have neighboring boats the privacy is limited and quiet depends on them, the terrace furniture needs replacing, and a sun‑umbrella is essential in July.

“Een hemels plekje op aarde !”

The scenery and calm by the canal were beautiful, and the safe bike path from St Gilles to Le Grau du Roi and Aigues Mortes was a highlight.

“calme et reposant”

The spot right on the canal was peaceful, and we could see or hear the animals while watching the boats pass; the boat equipment was very complete and in good condition. The TV’s remote was a bit hard to get working, but we weren’t really there to watch TV anyway, and there was a bit of dust behind the furniture with lots of cobwebs.
