The location was great for us, and the grounds had plenty of activities for kids. The staff were lovely, especially Kobe who was incredibly nice at breakfast. Our daughter wanted to stay in a castle, but when we booked it wasn’t clear we wouldn’t be in the castle; we ended up in a garden room off the castle, which disappointed her.

Accommodation and facilities were excellent. There were many leisure activities on the estate for all ages. I enjoyed everything about the stay.

Breakfast offered a wide variety and great service, and the meals were good. The lighting between the Bistro and the room was poor.
