The common area was beautifully furnished with a view of the bay and sunset. We added an extra day to our stay. The breakfast was excellent—each day something different and delicious. The host arranged a scuba‑diving trip and rented a scooter at a good price. Tea and coffee were available all day. In our room, there was very early‑morning noise. The hostel is expanding and the builders start very early, and outside the window you could hear children and poultry early in the morning. We believe other rooms didn’t have this issue, but we were right next to the entrance.

The room was exactly worth the price I paid. It’s a beautiful, affordable homestay/hostel right in the heart of Karimunjawa. Water can be scarce and sometimes not hot, but that’s part of island life. I really enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast was excellent, and the staff helped us with everything. The location was perfect, close to all the restaurants, and you can rent a scooter from the hostel. The downside was the noise and the bedroom’s lack of soundproofing.

It’s close to all the restaurants, the harbour and the alun‑alun. The staff were excellent, friendly and helped organise snorkelling tours, scooter rentals, fishing boat rentals and taxi services. The rooms are basic Indonesian style; they were fine for us but Westerners unfamiliar with Indonesian travel should know there’s no hot water or sink in the rooms, only a wet‑room shower and toilet. The air‑conditioning was excellent. Being in town, you’ll hear the call to prayer every morning, but that’s normal in Indonesia.

“Non adatto a turisti internazionali vieni svegliato alle 4 di notte dai vicini e Senza acqua calda”

Breakfast. It’s not suitable for international tourists, only locals, because at 4 am the neighboring rooms wake up with the prayer and start chatting and making noise even though the hostel’s silence rule is until 7 am. We found it impossible to sleep and left after two nights. There’s no hot water and it wasn’t mentioned on Booking.
