The arrival was very good, the beach and the centre were nice.
“Very happy in general”
The staff were friendly, warm, and welcoming, and the breakfast was decent enough, with everyone seeming pleasant; I’d definitely return. However, the juice ran out during my breakfast, and the portions were a bit inconsistent, though these are minor issues.
“price was ok, but they need to improve the general staff experience”
The breakfast was okay, but the staff and communication need improvement.
The location was perfect. The guesthouse needs a bit of attention to detail. Decoration is dated and mismatched. The breakfast wasn't the best I've had, but as we paid for it, we tried it 1st morning. In fact, we only ate it on the 1st out of the 2 booked. No menu offered to choose from, the Bacon was very fatty and swimming in oil. Window sills in the dining room/reception were covered in dust. But enough said, I wasn't going to let it spoil a golden anniversary celebration and will come back to Eastbourne
“Eastbourne visit”
The spot was great. Adam greeted us and handed over the keys, and they supplied coconut milk for breakfast since I can’t have cow’s milk. The bed felt a bit uncomfortable—a camp bed with a mattress and topper—so each morning it had a different shape; my bad back doesn’t do well with camp beds.
