“Excellent central location in Haarlem”

I found a spot in Haarlem that’s only a 15‑minute walk from the train station, and the room was a standard one with twin beds that were surprisingly comfortable and a spacious ensuite. There was a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, and the host sent the digital key code right away, so getting in was quick and hassle‑free. The only downside was the steep, narrow stairs up to the room—no lift for luggage. The bus 300 is a 5‑minute walk away and it takes you straight to the airport. I was a bit annoyed that the digital key required a cell phone and mobile data and there was no backup key, but it worked perfectly every time.

“Alles in allem eine gute Unterkunft”

The location is good in the middle of town, the room is functional and tastefully furnished, and there’s a nice bathroom with a large shower. The bed was narrow, and the mattress was very soft.

I liked the location and the cleaner was diligent, but there was no reception area or someone to check me in, so this was my first time with this type of hotel and I wouldn’t do it again.
