Everything was great: the location, the way the cabins were set up giving plenty of privacy, a cozy and relaxed welcome. Free tea and coffee were provided, along with dish soap, pepper, and salt. The beds and shower were wonderful! There were canoes and nice life jackets, and the wood for the fireplace was replenished daily.

“Beautiful spot to enjoy Autumn”

The place is close to downtown Ganges and offers easy access to points of interest, with a lakefront view and good privacy even though it’s near other cabins. The vibe is quaint with good tree cover, wildlife like bunnies, deer, and birds, and a strong cedar scent in the clean, rustic setting. The kitchen is well stocked, the cabin is comfortable, and the large balcony space is great. Equipment for lake activities is plentiful, and there are two hot tubs and a sauna in the forest to enjoy. I would definitely return and highly recommend it! The only downside is that the cabin could use a bit more ambient lighting throughout and perhaps another side table or surface in the main bedroom.

“Incredible”

Cabin 7 was a hit—no one on the side, so it felt secluded. The deck exit was handy, and the view was stunning. Nothing to complain about; everything was spot on.

“Idyllic, charming, comfortable cabins that brought us peace and tranquility”

This place is a hidden treasure. We felt right at home in our cabin, loved the local bath soap, the docks, Adirondack chairs, and canoe. The dogs were relaxed, staff were welcoming, and the sauna plus whirlpool were a great way to wind down. Frogs chirping at night made it extra cozy. Perfect for a special occasion.

“Very rustic, well cared for cabin, with comfortable bed, and good lake access”

Solid log cabin, comfy and fully equipped. Lake access is a breeze, and you can use a kayak or canoe for free. Minor annoyances: the toilet paper dispenser is a reach, shower head is low for tall folks, and the garbage bag hanging on the lower cupboard door is a bit awkward—could use a bin under the sink. Still, we’d come back.
