We adored the room and enjoyed a very cozy stay; breakfast was delightful, especially eating by the window with a view of the lovely garden where we saw birds and deer. A small issue: instructions on how to open the front door would help—after ten minutes of struggling we had to ring the bell, which didn’t go over well.

The bedroom was large, but there was no en‑suite, it felt outdated, and it was overpriced.

The remote location was lovely, close to the coast, and there was plenty of wildlife to see; the room was great and comfortable, though a few dusty spots were noticeable, but it wasn’t unclean.
