The room itself had a great design that felt very cosy and inviting. It was spacious with a well‑thought‑out furniture layout, plenty of storage space, and a very comfortable bed. The hairdryer was actually good quality, and the hotel provided a generous supply of tea, coffee, and biscuits. The stylish room was ruined by unbearable noise, poor facilities, and lack of service. Honestly, if the noise had been bearable, we would have turned a blind eye to the rest of the issues, as the other flaws were manageable on their own. However, combined with the lack of peace and quiet, the practicalities and service were a huge let‑down. Loud music played constantly, making it impossible to relax or get a proper rest in the room. The bathroom radiator wasn’t working. We reported this and were promised someone would look at it, but our request was completely ignored. The sink had a terribly mismatched kitchen tap fitted to it, which sprayed water all over the worktop and soaked the floor every time it was turned on. The Wi‑Fi was horrible, we couldn’t connect to it from our room at all. There is no lift on the premises, meaning we had to haul heavy luggage up to the second floor ourselves.
