“lovely rural location but staffing needs some work”
We stayed at a clean, comfortable hotel in “empty Spain”; the pool was a welcome touch but the jacuzzi was broken during our visit. The lady who eventually handled reception was efficient, and later we saw her mowing the lawn and doing repairs outside. Staffing was a bit haphazard: we arrived at 16:30 and the place was locked with a note on the door to call a number for entry, which was problematic because I had a British phone and no local SIM. Luckily a few people trying to get in made the call for everyone, and once staff arrived everything was handled efficiently. Breakfast staffing was also a bit lacking, with long waits to be acknowledged and to receive anything served. The breakfast selection was okay but not top quality and limited. Overall, the place was very nice and we enjoyed our couple of nights.
