“外国人オーナーって気楽”
I could wash clothes for free and the living area was wide, plus the kitchen was usable, which was great. However, finding the location was confusing and inconvenient, and the shower room's changing area was awkward.

It was a large holiday, but we stayed for 3600 yen, which was very reasonable. There was nothing negative.

When I called before arriving, the staff were very helpful, and the responses on LINE were quick; once at the lodge everything was still handled with the same kindness, which I really appreciated. The number of power outlets was limited, but an extension cord was provided. There aren’t any shops nearby, but having a car is fine.

The front‑desk staff were foreigners; I think the main language was French, but one of them spoke almost entirely in Japanese, while the other, probably still studying, tried to speak Japanese. Their explanations were clear, and I hope they keep trying even though it must be tough. The morning shift had a different foreign staff member, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast included white rice, three kinds of cereal, grilled salmon, natto, kinpira gobo, a raw egg, furikake, and juice, and I was especially happy with the natto‑egg rice. The lodge felt clean, and the shampoo and conditioner were better quality than those at a spa. I didn’t receive any extra towels, but I wonder if I could have requested them. The TV offers Amazon Prime and Netflix, and the sofa is plush and comfortable. Laundry supplies were available, but there was no dryer. I only learned about the slippers when I was leaving; it would have been better to know earlier. On the second day, the staff seemed nervous but could have used a set phrase like “May I use a translator?” or something. It was sad that a guest eating breakfast next to me was on their phone and no one spoke to them. The plates were not prepared in enough quantity for the number of guests; I only noticed after finishing my meal that there were plenty in the dish cabinet. I also found out that other guests were using the fridge when I was leaving, with no explanation. This place isn’t a high‑end hotel or ryokan, so it should try to standardise quality, perhaps by introducing a checklist. Service expectations differ between countries, so the staff should adapt accordingly.

スタッフの方が外国人でしたが、とてもフレンドリーでした 手作りパンケーキ🥞もサービスでいただきました. カーナビでも少し場所が分からず、周辺を1周しちゃいました 最後はGoogleMapで確認しましたけどね
