“A comfortable stay, even though Rock Away Beach is past its prime.”

Everything was very clean, the beach was nearby, hiking trails opened right out the door, and the breakfast and hostess were good, yet the front desk staff were not friendly or welcoming at all.

The sausage patties were over‑microwaved until rubbery, and the potatoes were severely undercooked.

I stopped by this place before heading to San Fran airport; it’s a decent spot but pricey, and the surroundings feel a bit dull. The hotel itself works well, and there are a few solid restaurants just a walk away. I also caught some whale and sealife watching, which was a nice extra.
