Price‑performance is fine and the location is very quiet. Unfortunately it’s not really central, but Grab gets you to the lake and the tower quickly. Check‑in took a long time, even though I was the only one there. The Wi‑Fi doesn’t work, so it’s practically nonexistent. The room is quite worn, the bathroom light was broken, and the air‑conditioning was weak, taking a long time to cool the room.

The staff were very friendly and the room on the second floor had good natural light. Breakfast was included and nice, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is older, so it’s okay but could use some TLC to refresh the rooms. Dogs were an issue; if you have a car or motorbike you’ll be fine, but walking from the hotel you’ll encounter many large dogs on the street in front of the hotel beside the river and on the neighboring street you must pass to head toward downtown and the lake. They roam around and will bark loudly at you because you’re a stranger. I tried multiple routes to avoid them but never succeeded.

The old hotel was nice, but there was no hot water and it was in a state of disrepair.

“Roi Et beautiful worth a visit and nice place to stay”

The room was spacious and clean, with the best shower I've had, and the staff were lovely. It's just a short walk to shops, the market and restaurants. The Thai breakfast was limited; a few fruits would have helped those who don't eat a hot breakfast.
