This is our top spot when we visit Galveston. The front desk staff is unbeatable—she always assists with whatever I need. We booked here before a cruise and she went above and beyond to get us ready. After losing my granddaughter the week before, she was caring and helped me print a pass I’d forgotten at home. I love her; you guys have a diamond employee at the front desk in the mornings—an African American woman.

It was awful! Bugs in the bed even after I told her she killed them and said it was a fly, but I don’t know what a fly looks like. The manager was drunk, rooms smelled bad, and I stayed elsewhere. It’s not worth a single night. The bed frame cracked and the walls were damaged; the place needs to shut down.

The location is good, but it felt a bit pricey for a Motel 6.
