“Close to the event center.”
The staff was friendly and the hotel’s location fit our needs perfectly. However, as soon as we entered our room it was very dark; a replacement bulb helped but the linens and upholstered furniture were stained. The shower floor had holes where the wall met the floor, there was a hole in the bathroom wall, and the mirror and TV had been wiped with a dirty towel.
“Nothing at all very discussed and smells like mold”
Nothing at all, everything smelled like mold. The owner let me look first; when I opened the door I was hit with a strong musty odor and a big puddle of water at the bathroom door. The floor, sink, and shower were dirty; the mirrors were never cleaned, and the beds were made as if kids had done them. The place was run down, crowded with people and kids living there.
“Probably won't go back”
It’s close to the destination and reasonably priced. The hotel has declined since our last stay; people live there with junk piled outside the rooms, and it no longer feels as safe or welcoming as it did a few years ago.

Nothing good. It was disgusting.
It seemed like a family lived on the premises, with kids’ toys and pools in the walkways. The room was scorching hot and smelled awful. A dirty ashtray was on the TV stand in a non‑smoking room. I felt very unsafe and worried about my belongings overnight.
