I only liked the location. The experience was terrible. The only stars were in the price, not in the services or courtesy. It was a bad experience for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Because it was an important anniversary and I had to convince my dad, who wasn’t keen on traveling, I booked here relying on the advertised 4‑star rating, expecting a suitable level. Unfortunately, the expectations were completely unmet. The welcome was disappointing from the start. The director was rude right after saying good morning. After I made a mistake in the booking by assigning 7 adults and 2 children to rooms, I asked the reception if the two children could stay with their parents, explaining a specific personal need of one of the kids. The answer? The change was possible only for an extra €80 per night. Given the already high total cost, we chose to adapt. To that was added a single room (added last minute) paid €150 per night as a double. The place, which claims 4 stars, is probably only that in the price list: rooms, bathrooms and cleanliness: dated rooms with obvious wear. The minibar didn’t even have a welcome water bottle. The bathrooms were awful: one room had an old bathtub used as a shower without a curtain, flooding everything; in the single the shower jets sprayed water everywhere. On top of that, my brother stayed in the dark and soapless under the shower because of a sudden blackout. Accommodation in a annex: my wife and I were placed in an annex outside the main building, overlooking a derelict garage, still half‑finished outside, infested with ants and mosquitoes.

The stay was generally pleasant, mainly saved by a really beautiful and well‑equipped pool area: we always found free loungers and umbrellas, the water was at the perfect temperature and the poolside bathrooms were always clean. The underground parking was also very convenient. A notable added value is the stunning view of Vesuvius from the breakfast area. The room, unfortunately, disappointed and needs urgent modernization and maintenance: - Sleep and comfort: the pillows were too high; we’re used to flat pillows, so we woke up every morning with a sore neck. Also, the blinds didn’t close completely, a problem for those used to total darkness. - Electrical comfort: no power outlets near the bed. - Bathroom maintenance: the toilet seat was broken and the shower door wouldn’t close, forcing us to use towels as a barrier to avoid flooding the floor. - Soundproofing: the acoustic isolation was practically zero (we could distinctly hear noises from the adjacent room) and the room’s entrance door let in both corridor light and the noise of passing guests (“continuous scuffle”). Breakfast: the offer was quite disappointing. Being a hotel in Campania, we expected a richer selection of Neapolitan specialties, but it turned out to be the standard breakfast found anywhere else in Italy. Several details need review: - No cappuccino espresso machine. - Fruit juices were of very poor quality, similar to drinks reconstituted with powders. - Wüstel and bacon were cooked roughly. For the price of the hotel, we would have definitely expected more, especially regarding room care and service quality.
