“Bad Staff reception”

The lobby restaurant serves good food and the hotel itself is tidy and pretty. However, the hotel enforces a rigid check‑in rule: when I booked, I was asked for my arrival time and could pick a slot, but regardless of my choice, the check‑in window was set to 1200‑1300 because I had an activity at 1600. I expected to arrive early enough to prepare, but that didn’t happen. My wife had to start getting ready at 1400, so we used the gazebo in front of the hotel to time ourselves, since we needed to be at the activity by 1600. I requested early check‑in for her at 1400 and 1430 to secure a better space, yet the staff said the room wasn’t ready. The parking lot had 5‑6 cars, so the hotel wasn’t full, yet the check‑in time didn’t change. Even after telling the staff that my wife was using the gazebo outside to prep, we still faced delays. When we finally reached the room, there was no AC because the system was out of service that season, so we had to open the windows. The staff’s attitude was poor. We arrived late to the activity because of the preparation time needed for a luxury event. Finally, we came back to the hotel at 0200 and the room was warm, so we couldn’t sleep. I checked out at 0230 am and left.

There are many good restaurants nearby and the staff are friendly.

I traveled with my mother; the walk to the shrine was lovely and the staff were very courteous.

“절대 다시는 안갈 호텔”

The internet is unusable—LTE doesn’t work, only the lobby has Wi‑Fi, and the room has no connectivity at all. The staff seemed very unfriendly; this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
