I couldn't ignore the strong smell of food in the lobby.

“Pleasant as amenities are within walking distance”

Walking distance to amenities. We booked for 4 pax. 1. Two pax had a room while the other 2 pax had to sleep in the common road 2. Lack of hooks/railing to hand our towels/clothes

“Es gibt viele kleine Stays in der Altstadt, lieber dort einkehren! Wooin ist laut, kaputt, schimmelig.”

It was close to the train station, but the hotel was a disaster: old, on a noisy main road, the first room had moldy air conditioning and a broken sink, and even after moving to a new room the AC still had mold.

Laundry facilities were excellent, with free soap and fabric softener, and the room itself was very clean, but there was no dinner offered at the restaurant.

“Großartiges Hotel in Bahnhofsnähe”

Five minutes on foot from the train station, the welcome was very friendly, the rooms were spacious and spotless with a fridge, kettle, and plenty of luggage space, the large bathroom had all the essentials, and the double bed (per person) was very comfortable; I can't ask for more from a hotel.
