I found the rooms to be comfortable, clean, and the location convenient.
The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, but the location was excellent and close to restaurants.
“Bad. Gross”
The people were great, but the hotel was smoky, dirty, moldy, and hit—so bad for the kids that we didn’t even stay two nights.
“Mediocre at very best”
The beds were comfy and the hallways stayed clean, but I never got a reply about a rollaway bed I requested before arrival. The front desk staff seemed annoyed when checking me in; I was dealing with a kidney stone and had sat in my car for 7 hours, so I wasn’t exactly cheerful, but I still smiled and spoke nicely. She talked condescendingly and seemed bothered by me fumbling with my wallet to find the correct credit card—there was no one behind me and it was only a few extra seconds. I forgot to mention we were bringing a cat, so I had to go back inside to pay the fee; it couldn’t be added to the room for some reason, so I paid cash, which again felt like a hassle for her. The next day I asked to change the credit card on file because my husband had arrived with the rewards card we wanted to use, but I was told the entire stay was cashed out in full at check‑in. I’ve never heard of that, but it explains why the pet fee couldn’t be added. It wasn’t convenient, but not a huge deal for us, though it could be for others wanting charges on a different card. Breakfast was extremely sparse. I didn’t feel the room was clean upon arrival, but I tend to be judgmental about cleanliness. On the last morning, while washing in the shower, I noticed a brown spot on my washcloth. Thinking it was a stain, I wet it and discovered it was BLOOD! That meant the towels hadn’t been replaced after the previous guests. How else could a dried drop of blood, not from my family, end up on a “fresh” washcloth? There was also a long black hair on the shower wall that didn’t belong to my family.
