All in all, a wonderful stay—friendly people, great beach, and good food.

The beach was great, with safe swimming waters and several spots to eat right on the shore; breakfast was generous and varied, and the staff were very friendly. However, the room was dark and poorly maintained, a common issue in Sri Lankan hotels, and the building would have been better positioned right on the waterfront instead of at the back of the block; it felt a bit dated.

The hotel is right on the beach, and evening restaurants open onto the shoreline are perfect; about a 5‑minute walk from the hotel is the Fernando’s Beach Market restaurant center, walking along the beach. The only air‑conditioned area was our room; breakfast was not varied and took place in a non‑air‑conditioned restaurant; food was cooked outside in the heat and there was no appetite to eat, offering no value for the price we paid.

A pleasant spot.

The location was perfect, with sunbeds and umbrellas right on the beach. However, there were too many staff for the low service quality, breakfast lines were long and chaotic, we had to repeat orders several times, the bathroom smelled damp, the electricity kept tripping, and, as in all of Trincomalee, food prices were excessively high.
