Hotel Brummeier

Central location at the main square and still quiet. I could park my motorcycle in the courtyard. The room was directly reachable from there by stairs. At dinner in the restaurant, first the wrong dish was served, then a long wait, the bread basket was only brought after asking, for all other tables it was automatic, the glass had a thick lipstick rim, but it was immediately replaced.

“Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt empfehlenswert. Wenig Gepäck mit ins Zimmer nehmen!”

The hotel sits right in the village centre and offers plenty of free parking spots up to 9 am. Check‑in is handled online even though there’s staff on site, which felt a bit odd. To get to the room you have to walk through the restaurant, which was a little inconvenient.

Perfectly placed in the middle of town, making it easy to explore. I couldn’t find the hotel’s own parking, but the short‑stay zone doesn’t apply after 6 pm, and there were plenty of free spaces nearby overnight. No real drawbacks.

The location was fine, but the rooms were a disappointment – heavy smoke smell, a bed that was practically unusable, and the bathroom reeked of drainage. Not a comfortable stay.

We stayed with our dog and liked that the entrance is at ground level behind the building, plus the back garden is pleasant and the little village is charming to wander. The on‑site restaurant was decent, and there were no real complaints.
