The hotel sits in a quiet countryside spot, which was a relief. The staff were generally lovely and helpful, but one gentleman at the bar was rude—he ignored us when we tried to check in on Wednesday evening and only responded after we called him back. That left me uneasy about how the rest of the stay would go, but the dining room staff were the opposite and made up for it.

The location is fantastic and very peaceful, and the staff are friendly. The room is charming, with plenty of tea and coffee facilities, and the breakfast is fantastic. The building is old, so it can be a bit noisy when other guests come in or out of their rooms.

A very cozy inn with delicious food. Our room was comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. Our little dog enjoyed the stay as well.

Cozy yet decent sized room. Noisy from around 7:30am on Sunday morning (music being played in bar, people talking in other rooms, cleaning)
