Yosemite Southgate Hotel & Suites

“Lovely quiet and spacious room. Breakfast could be better.”

The room was spacious and quiet on the top floor at the end of the corridor, as I had requested, and the view over the back of the hotel let me hear only birds instead of traffic. It featured a vanity next to the sink, a clean bathroom, and plenty of useful amenities. Its location made it easy to reach Yosemite, and I used the laundry service, paying about $8 for detergent, the washing machine, and the dryer, which was convenient. The Wi‑Fi was shaky in our room at the far end of the hotel but worked quickly in the common areas. Breakfast was limited, offering only scrambled eggs and sausage flatties, and there was no dairy‑free milk.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the breakfast was decent, the room was clean and well-equipped, and the park was just a short walk away. There was nothing to complain about.

The location was very good, the rooms were large, clean, and well furnished. The pool is nice and the restaurants are nearby. The breakfast room is a bit dull.

The rooms were spacious, there were plenty of parking spots, and the property is close to many shops and restaurants. The entrance to the property is only usable from one side, even though there are two ways to leave.
