Tucked between two MRT stations I had to walk a little, yet Dihua Street was within easy reach, making shopping a breeze, with a PX Mart next door and a convenience store across the street. The room was fairly spacious and the bed decent, though the pillow was a bit flat; there were vending machines stocked with supplies and snacks, perfect for anyone who doesn’t feel like leaving the hotel. A simple breakfast and some late‑night biscuits were available, and given the size, location and price, I thought it was a decent deal (sadly, budget travelers get easily satisfied). On the downside, the hotel sits on the third floor of a mixed‑use building, which felt intimidating at first, the sound insulation was poor and the flat pillow could bother light sleepers, and the older building’s renovation left many corners looking less than clean—someone with a strong need for hygiene might be upset.

We booked this hotel for a night coming from Chiayi. We are not expecting anything since this will be an overnight stay only. YOu can easily find the hotel it is inside an old building(3rd floor) but dont be deceived by the looks of the old building. Upon entering the 3rd floor the reception area is quite spacious and our room is all fine and the toilet has a bidet! Which is seldom to see in hotels in Taipei. They provide snacks, brewed coffee in the pantry area. They also have a microwave oven. This is a decent place to stay and very near the Ningxia night market. None so far
