The hotel was charming and located in a lovely area, with hosts and owners who were friendly and welcoming. The only drawback was the very steep stairs to the first floor, although there are plenty of handrails to support you.

The comfort and flexibility were very pleasant, and everything was great. There was nothing to complain about, but the price is on the higher side, so we might visit more often if it were cheaper. It’s truly a beautiful and special hotel in a top location.

The historic hotel, converted from a tram station, is charming and walkable to restaurants, shops, and a park in Amstelveen. Host Hugo was personable, welcoming, and accommodating, and the breakfast was lovely.

Staying there felt like being in a beautiful house set in a magical, peaceful surroundings, with truly personalized service and a fabulous breakfast; they even waited until 23:00 to let us check in because our flight was delayed. ===REVIEW 4=== Great value for money; the camp sits deep in the desert and if you choose a camel you can ride for about an hour one‑way.
