The hotel's proximity to Playa Grande beach is unbeatable - I had direct access to the beach and a stunning ocean view. The town of Chala is tiny, making it easy to walk to the nearby beach, shops, and restaurants. The receptionist was a gem, friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. However, the hotel itself showed signs of wear and tear, and the breakfast was a bit meager. Considering the price, I felt it was a bit steep for the condition of the hotel.

The closed parking lot was a nice touch, but unfortunately, that's where the good news ended. The beds were way too hard, there was no hot water, and the price was way too high for what you got. The breakfast was also pretty basic, considering they're trying to pass this place off as a higher-end hotel.

The location was great, but that's where the positives ended. They tried to charge me way too much, and I wasn't having it.
