“Functioneel om alleen slapen, maar niet voor luxe of gemak.”

Check‑in and check‑out were smooth. There was a TV and a fan. The location was fine for a non‑central spot. The bathroom and kitchen were very dirty: mold in the cabinets and in the shower. The kitchen area seemed useful, but it was filthy and there was no cutlery.

Spacious mini‑apartment with potential. Cleaning was not up to standard; we were passing through for one night and it went fine. If it were cleaner, there would be nothing wrong.

“A part la chambre, il n'y a pas de service”

The room was nice with a kitchenette and good beds, but the kitchenette itself was not equipped – no dishes, no cutlery, no electric kettle. The site advertised continental breakfast, yet none was offered; a photo of the dining room was posted but it was empty. The price was very high.

“Prenez-vos boules quies”

The hotel sits close to Brussels Expo in a quiet area, offers a reasonable room rate, free parking, and the room was simple with apparently new furniture, clean and comfortable bedding, a fridge and a TV with Netflix. They were especially attentive to the many student guests, even providing a coffee and snack during breakfast—a rare courtesy for the medical competition context. However, the staff’s welcome was very cold, the rooms and bathroom weren’t clean (especially the floors), the bathroom felt dated and the shower head was broken, requiring us to hold it while washing, and there was no sound insulation at all; we were woken at 3 am by a rooster’s crow and again at 6 am by another.
