The location is really nice, close to nature trails. The price is budget‑friendly and the staff are very friendly. Private rooms have really, really poor soundproofing.

I came to this place hoping for a lively spot to meet people, and it delivered that vibe well. The mattresses, however, could use a upgrade, and each room is missing a bath mat at least.

“Dreadful stay, dishonest host, mouldy mattresses, no private bathrooms despite ad.”

I booked here expecting a double bed and a private bathroom, but neither existed—every room lacked both. The caretaker admitted she didn’t know why the owner listed such amenities. As a pregnant traveler, I was looking for privacy and comfort, but the shared bathroom was filthy, lacked soap, and the kitchen had several broken appliances. The “free coffee machine” was an old, unclean model with no instructions. The beds were moldy, with mattresses only an inch thick, and some had multiple thin layers piled together. The door lock broke, and I spent about 10 minutes trying to re-enter the room. On my last night, the owner messaged me after I raised concerns; he first told me I should have asked for a private bathroom (which I couldn’t, as I didn’t know him and the caretaker said none existed) and then suggested I shouldn’t have booked if I wanted better quality. I wanted what was advertised, but the listing was false. When I reported this, the response was just an insulting credit offer that I won’t use, as no assurance was given that the listing is accurate. I strongly advise against staying here unless you’re okay with a rough backpacker style; the rooms are misleading and dishonest.

The price was very good, and the quiet, remote location away from the city allowed us a peaceful stay. We also managed to see the aurora right outside the hostel. We never had a chance to meet the owner or anyone working there, so we couldn’t ask for more details about our stay or the facilities. Even after writing to the booking contact or the provided numbers, we never received a response.

“SCONSIGLIATO!!!!”

We didn’t actually stay because the room description didn’t match the booking. I would advise against booking unless you’re aware that you won’t get a double bed with a private bathroom, shower, toilet, etc., as described. When we arrived, we were offered a bunk bed room without a bathroom. After several messages with the owner, he said that was the only room available and suggested we cancel if we were dissatisfied. We found another place, but at a higher price than our budget. We felt cheated because the owner didn’t refund us even though the booking description didn’t match what was offered.
