“Nefasto, Pésimo, Lamentable, ESTAFA”
The staff at the bar and restaurant were friendly. I was traveling with my two minor daughters and booked a villa with three rooms. We arrived in the afternoon. At check‑in we were taken to the villa, which is about 450 m from the complex, isolated and outside of it, and we were told there was no phone and we should use WhatsApp. The internet connection didn’t work and there was no way to contact the hotel. A guard was stationed at the house, but he didn’t speak French or English, so communicating with him, though friendly, was impossible. The only way to go to dinner was to wander down a dark street, which was quite unpleasant with two small daughters. On the second day, for breakfast, the same situation: almost 500 m to the restaurant, but at least there was light. Later, in the VIP villa, there was no beach access and when I tried to get to it I twisted my ankle. We had to go out to eat again, walking, with a lot of discomfort. That same day, after lunch, we asked if they could bring ice to the room. The first question was why we wanted it and then what type of ice. After waiting all afternoon, we only got the ice when we went to dinner—again walking—and asked the bar and restaurant staff, who were friendly and helpful. On the departure day they came to pick us up because we had to go to reception to pay; otherwise we probably would have had to walk again. I don’t think this is the kind of treatment a villa that charges €1,400 for two days should give, and it’s not even close. We reported all of this to the manager, Mr Berthy, demanding a financial compensation for the awful service received. The response was that the villa is only about 200 m from the hotel and is part of the complex (which is a lie, as shown in the attached photo).
