“Der Preis ist für die Unterkunft nicht gerechtfertigt!”
Checking in was straightforward, the place sits close to the hospital and is in a quiet spot; however, the hallway smelled of dogs, the house had no water, coffee, or tea on hand—only beer was available, and the Wi‑Fi was missing, the wardrobe was broken, everything felt old, worn, and in need of repair.
“Tolles Preis/Leisungsverhältnis in schöner Unterkunft.”
The room was lovingly furnished, spotless, and the shared kitchen left no wishes unfulfilled; it was within walking distance of the train station with a direct link to Usedom, and the landlord was very communicative and helpful.

The conditions were good, and everything was fine.
“Zum Schlafen völlig in Ordnung”
The location was very convenient, especially for visits to the clinic across the street or when we were in Wolgast; the key box with a code made late arrivals much easier, and email communication with the owner was good; parking was behind the building and Wi‑Fi worked, the TV had free channels; on the downside the steep stairs to the rooms were a hassle, there was no proper stove or oven, the bathroom and floor were a bit dirty, there were too few sockets—none in the bathroom—there was a shared fridge for all three rooms, the bathrooms needed renovation and had hygiene problems, the furniture was functional but not stylish, the TV was outdated and had no apps, and the room was noisy.
