The breakfast was decent, and the kitchen staff were excellent. The location was very good. However, the reception staff were unfriendly, and bikes had to be stored in the garage by 18.30 h. The room was tiny, and at 40 °C without air conditioning it was barely tolerable; I even considered sleeping on the terrace at night.

The location is perfect, the breakfast buffet is very extensive, the staff are extremely friendly, and there is a bike parking area.

We liked the hotel's position right at the entrance to the city center. Although the hotel is a bit dated, it is still well equipped. It’s great that there is a covered bike storage in the garage, and that every floor has water dispensers with filtered and sparkling water. We booked a budget room, which was quite small and had only tiny windows (at least in our room). The windows face the otherwise nice but smoker‑heavy hotel terrace. During the day, long ventilation wasn’t possible, and the room smelled accordingly; at night it’s fine because the terrace can only be used until 22 h. The rooms are quiet, so if cigarette smoke bothers you, a higher‑priced room is recommended. Breakfast is fine, but it’s a pity that only filtered coffee from kettles is offered.
