“Beautiful place and we will be coming back”
Clean and beautiful, and the staff were very friendly.
I think the price was worth it, with tidy, modern rooms and a breakfast spread that had plenty of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay feel welcoming. The only downside was the shower – it lacked a door or screen, so the floor got pretty wet when I showered.

The hotel was beautiful and elegant, situated in a great spot. Our room offered a fantastic view over the river, which added a charming and relaxing atmosphere. Sashin was especially helpful, giving us useful tips on where to watch the August Esala Perahera parade; his kindness was truly appreciated. The restaurant overlooking the river had both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a lovely setting for meals. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous buffet that featured a wide variety of local Sri Lankan and international dishes, and the open kitchen was a nice touch. Overall, the stay was very pleasant in an elegant setting, enhanced by the river views and attentive service. The only drawback was that the hotel isn’t in the very centre of Kandy, but a few minutes away; we actually preferred this quieter, less congested location over the busy city centre.
