“Direkt an der D300. Keinerlei Kulanz bei Umplanungen. Wir sind nicht geblieben.”
We can't say much about the accommodation because we chose a quieter spot (not right on the D300) with more privacy (no shared pool). Unfortunately the host was not accommodating and the description on Booking was somewhat misleading. The description on Booking is wrong in several ways: Villa Inci claims to offer beachfront stays, but the property is actually on the D300 (as the map and noise level show). The rooms have a TV, but the fridge and coffee machine are in a shared kitchen with the owners and other guests. The bathtub described as in every room is actually in a shared bathroom. When travelers ask, "Are there rooms with private bathrooms?" the answer "For example: triple room" is not applicable to a shared bath. We booked for a few nights on a whim, expecting more privacy for our last days of vacation, but after seeing the house at 10 pm we wanted to cancel or shorten the stay. The owner insisted on the full rent with no goodwill, which says something about real or feigned friendliness. After that somewhat disappointing interpersonal behavior, we chose not to stay and found a wonderful place in Alacati the next day.
Very welcoming and kind, they made us feel at home and let us use the facilities after check‑out. Fantastic location.
The host Mr Kavasogullar and his wife were exceptionally warm and friendly, always ready to help and made our stay especially pleasant. At the end we even got to prepare dinner together – a truly lovely gesture from Mr Kavasogullar. He also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and cafés that we really enjoyed; before asking Google, it’s best to ask him for tips – he knows the area inside out. The beaches in Alaçatı and Çeşme are beautiful and definitely worth a visit.
Sechi and Hussein are two delightful and very welcoming people. I liked everything, but I was disappointed not to stay longer.
