“Bring me back now!!!!”

The lighting at Sekizenkan was absolutely stunning, and the warm hot spring water felt great on my skin. Dining outside the bridge at Sekizenya was a healing experience, especially the pumpkin soup with masala chai. I’d give it a perfect 10/10 and plan to come back, though I had to leave sooner than I’d liked.

It was great to experience both the luxury of Kasōtei and the historic main building, and each had its own on‑site hot spring, so we could enjoy them all. The amenities were plentiful, the food was delicious and the staff were pleasant, leaving us completely satisfied. I called the front desk after 9 pm, as the sign said the call would be transferred, but despite several attempts the line never connected.

“Literal Heaven”

Everything. The place is stunning, no notes. We had a room with a private onsen so we could get the onsen experience as tattooed people and it was glorious. The onsen is a stone bath that constantly refills with fresh hot spring water and can be adjusted with cold spring water so that its always fresh and perfect temp water. The minerals in the water had us smoother than the day we were born. Its an effort to drag yourself away from the room but should you they have very comfortable samue (seriously we bought a set they were so nice) and pretty yukatas to lounge about in. There is a guest lounge that is beautiful and has self service free tea, coffee and ice creams. The dinner service is a full like 7 course omikase fine traditional dining experience that'll have you convinced you're royalty. If you get the chance to experience this you'd honestly be crazy not too. That eventually we had to leave and return to our normal lives
