The surroundings were beautiful, and sleeping in a castle feels like a dream—time seemed to rewind for a moment, a unique experience. Just be aware there’s no café or shop nearby, but it’s still worth it.

The castle is stunning, the location is fantastic, and the manager was friendly and gave us a nice welcome. No breakfast, no mini‑fridge, and no coffee or tea.

Close to Burg Zievel, but there’s no reception desk, nothing that feels like a hotel. The toilet and bathroom are at the end of the corridor, and the rooms feel a bit old-fashioned.
