The hosts were adorable, the food was very good and affordable, and the room was fantastic. Nothing else to note.

All the facilities were there, but the cleanliness was lacking and there were still spider webs.

I fell ill after eating at their restaurant, and the surroundings were not good.

The room was large with a very comfortable bed, a small kitchenette that was fantastic, lovely decor, beautiful lighting, a little outdoor space, a nice rooftop, and the staff were friendly. We told them our check‑in would be late; we had traveled far and were exhausted when we arrived, yet the guy didn’t speak English and they only gave us one room even though we had booked and paid for two, which caused a lot of stress to try to get the second key because of the language barrier. Our rooms had blocked drains, so the bathroom flooded and the sink was unusable; I had to wash in the kitchen sink. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work. We ordered breakfast (fruit and pancakes) but the waiter disappeared for 25 minutes, returned with a Google‑translated “no pancakes” and didn’t bring the fruit or anything, so we ran out of time to eat even though we had paid. I raised all this with the hotel, but they just told me to contact customer service, which was pointless. So we paid for a hotel to sleep comfortably: no complaints there. Wash: nope. Eat: no breakfast before a flight. Wi‑Fi: no connectivity for online check‑in. The staff were friendly and tried to help but spoke no English, which I think puts them in an unfair position; the hotel had many problems and no management around, so the non‑English staff bore the brunt, which is not fair. The hotel could have been amazing with great rooms, but it ended up being a horrible experience and the owners clearly don’t care.

It was very clean. Because it’s in a Balinese town, there were restaurants nearby where you could eat pork and Balinese food.
